Bistro Wildcat
Climbing slopes
Rounding alleys
Creeping under the bush
Stepping over gutters
Sneeking by trees
Passing through gardens
Slipping away from cars
Escaping from people
In the same old town
I'm wandring
A name similar to mine
Is on the nameboard
I'm proud to say
I won't be a customer
Sometimes it smells
Fish
Or is it some soup?
Stepping on a barrel to peep in
I could hardly see the cave-lie
Interior of the weird place
Not for a nameless cat
I have no business with
A bistro at all
Only in the rainy evening
Its light looks inviting
People look back on the pavement
When umbrellas touch
"Bistro Wildcat" reminds them of
The one which deprives you of
All you have and cooks you
Demanding you no charge but
Instead they say
"What a delicious dish
You are!"
Rain, rain, go away
It's rainy again and makes
Me drenched to the skin
Looking for a shelter
To keep me dry
I lose my way to my shame
In a town I've known so long
No thanks for any more rain
At dusk in the town
Warm light makes it look
Quite strange
So alluring
I'm old enough to be called
A fantom cat
Come to see me
While I'm alive
To the town you know well
What!
Well, listen!
From far beyond mountains
Acorns are calling Me!
The voice I heard
In my childhood
Gargle
Grumble

Hey,
Hey,
Wildcat!
Hey,
Hey,
Wildcat!
