In a residential area of Koganei City, TOKYO, there
is a shrine deep in grasses. When I stopped by one day, I found
a plate saying, "More than 80 or 90 sorts of grasses are growing
in this garden. They are all common grasses you see everywhere.
Enjoy watching familiar grasses of your daily life." The name
of this shrine reminds me of a Japanese short poem which includes
the word "yaegaki" (literally meaning double hedges)
several times. I'm sure this one is related to the one in Izumo
(an old name of Shimane District). Let me check it later.
