As June's coming to an end
Roses of Sharon start to bloom
They slightly slant to look at the sky
Inviting rain to fall more on them

南郷の山の畑の朝霧を
今運び来る姫小百合かな


Himesayuri has just arrived
To bring me the morning mist
Of the mountain farm of
Village Nango beyond the memory
 

Himesayuri is the small lily which blooms first of all lilies. They grow only in certain parts of the mountains inFukushima, Miyagi, Yamagata Niigata, and a few more in Japan. A very rare kind. They are grown in a mountain farm of Village Nango, Fukushima Prefecture. For more information: Village Nango.
