After taking a walk in the city of Christchurch, we made a short trip to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. We observed the plants and animals of NZ, joined Ko Tane (to experience Maori traditional culture), and had Hangi Dinner there. / クライストチャーチ市内観光の後、郊外にある「ウィロウバンク野生動物公園」へ行って、ニュージーランドの動植物観察、マオリ族の伝統文化体験、そしてマオリのハンギディナーを堪能した。

If only had I known the names of plants, the tour might have become an excellent experinece!/ もし植物の名前を知っていさえしたら、どんなに面白さが増すことだろうと思わずにいられなかった。

"Come on and take photos!" We were invited to the stage again. / 「さあ、写真を撮っていって！」と熱烈な呼び掛け。
When we went out of the theater to take dinner, it was dark. Deer were in the garden. / 小屋を出て食事に向かう頃には夜も更けて、鹿たちが中庭に屯していた。
Dinner of Hangi was prepared in the cottage well lighted. / 明かりの灯るコテージでハンギ料理が待っていた。

The entrance of Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. As we were not allowed to take photos of kiwis, there are none in this page; however, actually, we had a chance to learn about the animal, listening to the instruction given by the skillful guide. We went inside of the kiwi breeding cottage and enjoyed watching kiwi moving around in darkness. / ウィローバンク野生動物公園正面入口。キウイの飼育舎では撮影できなかったので、このページには写真がない。実際にはガイドの案内で詳しい生態を聞き、闇の中に生きるキウィの姿を堪能した。
